OK, first off I would to offer my condolences for your tutor. His death must have hit you pretty hard, so I'm sorry for your loss. Reading John's reflections of the event reflected what you were most likely feeling in a way.
On lighter noted, I really enjoyed reading this fic. It's sweet, shippery, and nice to see that Elizabeth is there to support John =]
